The ICE-MC1 Master and Control board manages power sequencing, protection, and board-to-board communication. It also receives serial commands, programmed events, and triggers from the user and directs them to the appropriate daughter board. A simple command set controls the ICE boards and can be programmed as triggered events or executed immediately. Commands are implemented through a serial bus programmed in LabVIEWTM, MATLABTM, Python, Java, or most other programming languages.
The ICE-Box can also be used to power, house, and interface with the ICE boards. When integrated into the ICE-Box, front-panel system monitoring is also available. A simple GUI is available for download that will have you up and running in no time. With the addition of the ICE-SU1 serial-to-USB converter, one can use the GUI when implementing the board-level solution.
The ICE system is under your control via serial commands or the ICE GUI. A PC-compatible computer (not included in purchase) is necessary for this control.
