ICE is a compact suite of digitally controlled analog electronics that was designed to precisely drive and stabilize our D2-100 DBR Laser products and an associated array of photonics tools. It will simplify your design and reduce SWaP while still providing the same high performance we offer in our D2 modular units. The user can select their desired functionality for a compact, dedicated laser control system which will control up to four locked lasers. ICE can drive, frequency and temperature stabilize, and offset lock our DBR lasers.  ICE is based on the same high-performance D2 series analog electronics designs that have established Vescent Photonics as the leader in laser control and stabilization. It is fully compatible with our line of electro-optic modules: the D2-100 Lasers, D2-210 Spectroscopy Module, D2-250 Heterodyne Module, and D2-160 Beat Note Detector. They can also be used to drive and control a complete stabilized-laser system. A simple command set digitally controls the ICE boards. Commands are implemented through a USB Virtual Communication Port programmed in LabVIEWTM, MATLABTM, Python, Java, or most other programming languages.  An intuitive GUI can also be used to issue commands and control your experiment.  While control of ICE is digital, the business end of ICE is all analog for the high speed and low noise necessary for the highest performance. The ICE-Box can also be used to power, house, and interface with the ICE boards. All this in a flexible system that is easy to integrate into your atomic clock, gravity, magnetic, or inertial sensor, quantum computing or cryptography apparatus, or BEC or cold atom laboratory experiment.

The ICE system is under your control via serial commands or the ICE GUI.  A PC-compatible computer (not included in purchase) is necessary for this control.
